All research articles published in the Journal of Health and Behavioral Science  (JHBS) have full open access: immediately available free to read, download, and share.

Users are free to copy, transform, or redistribute articles for any lawful purpose in any medium, provided you give appropriate credit to the original author(s) and JHBS, link to the license, indicate if changes were made, and redistribute any derivative work under the same license.

Copyright on articles is held by the authors. By submitting to JHBS, authors grant any third party the right to use their article to the extent provided by the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License

Repository Policy

Journal of Health and Behavioral Studies supports open access and encourages authors to share their work widely.

Authors are permitted to deposit all versions of their manuscript in institutional or subject repositories of their choice, including:

• Preprint (version before peer review)
• Author’s Accepted Manuscript (AAM) (final peer-reviewed version before publication)
• Published Article (Version of Record)

No embargo period is applied. Authors may deposit their work at any time.

When depositing the Published Article (Version of Record), authors are encouraged to include full citation details and a link to the official publication on the journal website.

All deposited versions must acknowledge the original publication in the Journal of Health and Behavioral Studies.
