Jurnal Communio applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) to manuscripts that are accepted for publication.

Effective from Volume 15, Issue 1 (2026), the APC is:

• Domestic authors: IDR 1,000,000 per accepted article

• International authors: USD 65 per accepted article

The APC is payable only after the manuscript has been formally accepted for publication. There are no submission or peer-review fees.

Payment of the APC does not influence the editorial decision or peer-review process. Manuscripts are evaluated solely on the basis of their academic quality, originality, relevance, methodological soundness, and compliance with the journal's editorial and publication standards.

The APC covers the costs associated with the editorial and publication processes, including manuscript processing, copyediting, layout, online publication, and maintenance of the journal's publishing platform.

The APC is non-refundable once payment has been made. This includes cases in which an article is subsequently withdrawn by the authors after acceptance or after payment has been completed.

Authors who experience genuine financial difficulties may contact the editorial office to discuss the possibility of an APC waiver or reduction, where applicable. Any such request will be considered separately from the editorial and peer-review process and will have no bearing on the editorial decision.
