The Editorial Board of Jurnal Communio hereby announces an important update regarding the journal's manuscript language policy.

In line with our commitment to enhancing the international visibility, accessibility, and scholarly impact of the journal, Jurnal Communio will accept manuscripts written exclusively in English starting from Volume 16, Issue 1 (January 2027).

Effective with this issue, all newly submitted manuscripts must be prepared entirely in English. Manuscripts submitted in Bahasa Indonesia for consideration in Volume 16, Issue 1 (January 2027) and subsequent issues will not be processed.

This policy is introduced to:

• Increase the international readership and accessibility of published articles;
• Strengthen the journal's competitiveness for international indexing and abstracting services;
• Encourage broader scholarly collaboration among researchers from different countries; and
• Enhance the global impact and citation potential of articles published in Jurnal Communio.

Authors are strongly encouraged to ensure that their manuscripts meet the standards of academic English before submission. The Editorial Board recommends that authors use professional English proofreading or language editing services, where necessary, prior to submitting their manuscripts.

We sincerely appreciate the continued trust and support of our authors, reviewers, and readers. We look forward to receiving high-quality scholarly contributions in English and to further strengthening Jurnal Communio as an internationally recognized journal.
