Abstract
Tourism, one of the most profitable economic sectors in Indonesia, continues to develop because it can generate more foreign currency and provide more jobs for domestic and foreign tourists. Semarang Regency has its own charm due to its natural beauty and the local traditions that are still preserved. Many visitors want to enjoy the natural scenery in Semarang Regency, especially Ambarawa. Therefore, the demand for hotels and accommodations to accommodate tourists is very high. Several hotels and resorts in Ambarawa, Semarang Regency, are designed to meet that need. Data is currently being collected and analyzed through descriptive design. To improve the quality of tourism and preserve the culture of Semarang Regency, hotels and resorts in the Rawa Pening lake area are designed with a neo-Vernacular architectural approach. The purpose of this design is to assist the government in improving the quality of tourism and maintaining environmental harmony.
