Pengaruh Pola Permukiman Pacenan Terhadap Penentuan Tata Letak Pada Rest Area di Situbondo

Abstract

The use of the concept of traditional settlement patterns in the mass layout of the Rest Area is still rarely applied. Likewise, the Pacenan settlement pattern which uses the Tanèyan Lanjhang mass layout concept is still not applied to other functions other than residential houses. This study aims to identify how the Pacenan mass layout pattern can be adapted in determining the layout of the rest area in Situbondo Regency, which has cultural and functional value. It also compares case studies on the Pacenan settlement pattern in several villages in Situbondo Regency and case studies on the application of other traditional settlement patterns in rest areas in Indonesia.
