Abstract

The place of worship for Muslims, namely the mosque, is a religious facility that should provide a calm and comfortable atmosphere for the congregation in carrying out worship. One of the elements that influences this comfort is the noise level in the mosque. Therefore, the presence of noise in the comfort of worship is the topic discussed in this analysis. This analysis was conducted in the At-Tawwabin Mosque complex as a place of analysis. In this analysis, the analyst used 66 respondents consisting of men and women around the mosque complex. This analysis also uses a descriptive quantitative method where the questionnaire data that has been obtained will be viewed for validity and reliability on trial respondents to ensure that each item is able to measure variables consistently and accurately. The data collected was analyzed descriptively to see the distribution and average of the indicators. Furthermore, a simple linear regression analysis was used to measure the relationship between noise (X) and comfort (Y), complemented by a determination coefficient test (R²) and a significance test (t-test). This approach is expected to contribute to improving the comfort of the congregation through noise management at the At-Tawwabin Mosque.
