Abstract
UI GreenMetric World University Ranking is an initiative of the University of Indonesia in 2010 as a form of assessment criteria for green campus. This green campus assessment will be used to rank universities that are making efforts towards carbon reduction as well as efforts to improve their campus on a sustainable basis. There are 6 assessment criteria at UI GreenMetric, namely: (1) Setting and infrastructure (15%); (2) Energy and climate change (21%); (3) Waste (18%); (4) Water (10%); (5) Transportation (18%); and (6) Education and Research (18%). The green campus assessment at the Pontianak State Polytechnic Campus will begin with the first criteria, namely the criteria for settingĀ and infrastructure. The indicators of this criterion consist of the ratio of open area to total area, campus area covered by forest, campus area covered by vegetation, campus area for water absorption, total open area divided by campus population and campus budget for sustainability efforts. This study aims to determine the value of the green campus on the Pontianak State Polytechnic campus specifically for structuring and infrastructure criteria. The method used is descriptive-qualitative method. The result is that the Pontianak State Polytechnic campus meets the requirements by 50% with a score of 750 points from the maximum value of 1500 points. The need for green open areas in the form of forests needs to be considered as an effort to increase the score of the green campus assessment criteria for campus setting and infrastructure.
