Perbedaan jenis parasit pada ikan kerapu cantang (Epinephelus fuscoguttatus x Epinephelus lanceolatus) sebelum dan sesudah budidaya di keramba jaring apung Semau

Abstrak

This study aims to find out the species of parasites found in cantang grouper fish
before and after cultured in Semau Pond Floating Net Cages, and count the value of prevalence
and intensity. This study used five cantang grouper fish at the beginning of the study and twenty-
two at the end of the study to be sampled form of mucus, gills, intestines, kidneys and liver and
then examined parasites using a microscope. The data was analyzed using descriptive analysis,
and from research conducted found endoparasite Monogenea in the intestinal organs and
Myxobolus spp. in the liver, as well as ectoparasites Trichodina sp. and Neobenedenia found in
mucus with a prevalence of the four parasites by 3.7% and an intensity increase for the four
parasites 1 ind / tail.
