Abstrak

This study aims to determine the effect of using different filter media on the
specific growth rate of clownfish rearing. The method used in this study was a Randomized
Block Design (RAK) method with 3 treatments and 3 replications. The research design used
filter media in the form of coconut husk (A), coconut shell charcoal (B), and bioball (C). The
research parameter measured was the specific growth rate (SGR). The results showed that the
use of different filter media such as coconut husk, coconut shell charcoal, and bioball had no
significant effect (P > 0.05 and P > 0.01) on the specific growth rate of clown fish. In this study,
coconut shell charcoal treatment showed the highest value for the specific growth rate.
