Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has changed everything, among other things, demanding the immediate digitalization of schools.
Even though there are many obstacles, efforts in that direction must be implemented immediately so that the collaboration
between teachers and students and parents is closer. One reason is that currently there is a gap between educators and students,
namely differences in generations due to technology. There are still many teachers or educators who come from the baby boomers
and millennial generations, while the students are generations Y, Z, and Alpha who are digital, open, flexible, and fast. Thus, if
teachers in online learning forced by the Covid-19 pandemic are still teaching time bound, giving lots of assignments, giving
lectures via zoom, don't they learn online with face-to-face mode? The impact of informative learning is that they are trapped in 3
things. namely, more focus on acquiring knowledge (knowledge acquiring), providing more low-level thinking patterns (LOTs),
not high-level thinking patterns (HOTs), so that a non-dynamic mindset is built (fix mindset not growth or agile mindset), and less
stimulates a creative mindset. Moving on from this fact, online mode or online learning, which is forced to become a current
trend, needs to be juxtaposed with Marzano's Taxonomy which prioritizes critical thinking in addition to Bloom's taxonomy.
