PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN SISWA KELAS VIIA SMP NEGERI 6 KUPANG TENGAH DALAM MEMAHAMI MATERI TEKS DESKRIPSI DENGAN APLIKASI QUIZIZZ SELAMA MASA PANDEMI COVID-19 TAHUN AJARAN 2020/2021

Abstrak

This research was carried out to increasing students’ ability of class VIIA SMPN 6 Kupang Tengah to understanding
descriptive text material using Quizizz application during pandemic of covid-19 on academic year of 2020/2021. The method used
was Classroom Action Research. The implementation of Quizzizz application in learning process as problem solving to increasing
student ability of class VIIA SMPN 6 Kupang Tengah especially for descriptive text material has been successfully implemented
on second cycle. This is evidenced by the results of student work who showed that: (1) at the planning stage reached 92,5%, at the
action stage reached 98,18%, and at the evaluation stage reached 95,45 by average score is 82. The average proportion of cycles
I and II at the planning stage reached 81.25%, including in the good category; at the action stage reached 73,64%, including in the
good category ; and at the evaluation stage reached76% including in the good category.
