Abstract

This article explains the vowels and consonants sounds in Kodi language through distinctive feature theory. This theory
explains that the smallest unit in phonology. Distinctive feature and phoneme are segmental unit that have a sequences of
distinctive features. Kodi language has five vowels and fourteen consonants. The vowels can be explained by eight distinctive
features while the consonants by thirteen distinctive features.
