Abstract

Pada jaringan sensor nirkabel (Wireless Sensor Networks -WSNs), energi pada setiap node adalah sumber daya yang terbatas.  Pada umumnya protokol medium access control (MAC) untuk WSNs didesain untuk konservasi energy jaringan karena MAC mengatur modul komunikasi yang merupakan modul dengan konsumsi daya tertinggi dalam sebuah node. Penelitian ini bertujuan menginvestigasi pengaruh parameter-parameter MAC seperti duty cycle, beacon fraction  dan daya transmisi terhadap unjuk kerja jaringan (paket delivery rate-PDR) dan konsumsi energy dalam jaringan.
