Manuscript Types

Buletin Ilmiah IMPAS publishes scholarly works in the field of agricultural socio-economics and related areas. The journal provides a platform for communicating research findings, empirical observations, surveys, scholarly opinions, and literature-based studies relevant to agricultural and rural socio-economic issues.

The journal accepts the following types of manuscripts:

1. Research Article

A Research Article presents original findings derived from systematic research. It should clearly describe the research problem, objectives, methodology, results, discussion, and conclusions.

Research Articles may employ quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-method approaches and should demonstrate a clear contribution to the development of knowledge and/or practice in agricultural socio-economics.

2. Experimental Study

An Experimental Study reports findings obtained through experimental or intervention-based research relevant to agricultural socio-economic issues.

The manuscript should clearly explain the experimental design, procedures, data collection and analysis, results, and the implications of the findings.

3. Survey Article

A Survey Article presents and analyzes empirical data collected through surveys involving farmers, agricultural households, consumers, agricultural businesses, communities, institutions, or other relevant stakeholders.

The manuscript should go beyond descriptive reporting by providing appropriate analysis, interpretation, and discussion of the significance of the findings.

4. Review Article

A Review Article provides a critical and systematic examination of existing scholarly literature on a specific topic within the journal's scope.

The article should synthesize previous studies, identify important trends or research gaps, critically evaluate the existing body of knowledge, and provide directions for further research. A Review Article should not merely summarize previously published literature.

5. Scholarly Opinion

A Scholarly Opinion presents an academically grounded argument, perspective, or critical reflection on contemporary issues related to agricultural socio-economics.

The manuscript should be based on relevant evidence and scholarly literature and should offer a clear and well-supported argument. Personal opinions without adequate academic or empirical support are not considered suitable for publication.
